Audio company Anchor is hiring for content partnerships

If you were so intrigued by Anchor’s latest moves into quick and simple podcasting that you want to work for them, you’re in luck. The company, which has made several pivots in the audio sector over the years, is looking for a head of content partnerships to be based in its New York office. This role will “attract and build partnerships with creators, influencers, editorial publishers, and brands” in addition to guiding Anchor’s strategy in that area.

Anchor is already working with publishers such as BuzzFeed News and The Outline, but it seems their aspirations are to keep growing. Most likely these partnerships are how Anchor intends to create revenue, since the company has insisted that its core offerings of hosting and distributing audio clips will always be free to any and all users.
