ASCAP has created a new Digital Team that will work to improve the transparency and efficiency of the organization’s royalty collection and distribution. The Digital Team includes two branches: Digital Product & User Experience Group and the Data Strategy & Business Intelligence Group.
The Digital Product & User Experience group will be helmed by Vice President Dena Fletcher, who has nearly two decades of experience in that field. David Frigeri will be vice president of Data Strategy & Business Intelligence, and will be responsible for data quality and data monetization initiatives, predictive analytics, and data visualization.
“As the music landscape evolves, the Digital Team will build new experiences and re-engineer existing processes,” said Alice Kim, chief strategy and digital officer. “Additionally, together with the Strategy & Business Development Group, the Digital Team will look to create new partnerships that transform the way our members and licensees interact with ASCAP.”
