Apple makes a new hire for video projects

Shiva Rajarman canvasApple has hired Shiva Rajaraman to guide its video content strategy. He will reportedly be working on several different projects for Apple, which has been testing the waters with many video concepts. Rajaraman’s resume includes an eight-year stint at YouTube/Google. He most recently spent two years serving as a vice president of product at Spotify.

Apple has several irons in the video fire. Visual components have been a strong element to the Apple Music exclusives, with projects ranging from Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour to Frank Ocean’s art project Endless under its umbrella.
